Ben Briand is a director, photographer, writer and artist based in Sydney, Australia. With a background in fine arts, Ben works in narrative and commercial disciplines. His work has screened at SXSW, BFI London Film Festival, Palm Springs Film Festival, Raindance, Hammer Museum, Nowness, named Best Emerging Australian Filmmaker by the Melbourne International Film Festival and voted Best Narrative Film on Vimeo - in addition to half a dozen Staff Picks. His commercial work has won Cannes Silver Lions, Gold at Epica, TV Campaign of The Year at B&T and the Grand Prix at European Cristal Festival. He has been nominated multiple times for Best Director by the Directors Guild of Australia.
